Cíle kurzu

Provide participants with tools and procedures for the measurement of the job „size“, for new design or finetuning of the internal compensation system and for optimization of the appraisal and performance management process.

Obsah kurzu

• definition of process and business process; decomposition of business process,
• basic characteristics of a process and effectivity measurements (possibility to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of HR business processes, e.g. recruitment process for which job description is necessary),
• relation between 2 key HR processes (job analysis and performance management) and other HR processes (also by using so called HR Architecture model),
• introduction to various job analysis methods (HAY, Mercer etc.),
• practical utilization of job analysis (internal and external job grading, comparison with salary surveys, design of compensation and benefit systems),
• job description; various practices and optimal model
• performance Management: best practise model (MBO, competence framework, individual development plan); examples of real-life practise from various companies

Workshop 1: Make analysis of selected HR process from particpant´s company (e.g. recruitment) and definition of KPIs for the measurement of its effectiveness (working template shall be provided)

Workshop 2: Work out job description for selected job function (or finetuning of the exisiting one) based on optimal model (working template shall be provided)

Workshop 3: Create competence framework for one or more job functions based on the existing job description (participants will take it from home company or will use that one created in workshop 2). Competence framework is kind of cornerstone and the necessary part of the performance management process from which other processes such as performance appraisal, training and development, career, succession and talent planning are derived.

Poznámka

Refreshments, background materials and graduation certificates for every participant are a matter of course.
